BFI Film Academy is all about helping young people aged 16—25 break into the screen industries.
This programme of short films features alumni from the BFI Film Academy Plus Screenwriting programme who were awarded seed funding to create their own short films in collaboration with other young creative.
The screenings will be followed by an audience Q&A with the filmmakers and a BFI Scene Networking Event for filmmakers and young audience members.
When It Rains

Cara Donagheys work is inspired and influenced by her locality and community - most notably the theme of “home”. This concept has now sparked her to create her business “Súilí” - a collection of tote bags depicting popular monuments that are close to her and reminded her of home at a time when she was unable to return.
