Our ProgrammesOur Programmes
Primary & Post-Primary Programme
We offer screenings to school groups at Nerve Centre, Brunswick Moviebowl, and outreach within schools.
With the expertise of our Creative Learning Centre staff, we run in-school workshops on everything from coding and producing short trailers to screenplay writing and sound editing.
Moving Image ArtsEvents
Foyle Film Festival launched CCEA’s Moving Image Arts (MIA) Awards Showcase in 2003, with the support and sponsorship of Michael Bond from City of Derry Crystal.
Every year we host a showcase that marks and celebrates the work produced by students undertaking the new Moving Image Arts subject within schools. We highlight and celebrate the talent, imagination and creativity of the MIA students by awarding the beautiful City of Derry Crystal Awards for the best films.
We have also partnered with Screenskills to offer an insightful industry focused event to meet an industry panel of trainers and creatives from the world of film and television to learn about the range of job roles and skills needed in the screen industries.
Online SpecialEvents
Some highlights from last year’s programme include conversations with Christian Kotey, an award-winning make-up artist and filmmaker, renowned production designer Deborah Riley, and exciting one-off event live from the Manchester United press box where their education team will be hosting a session all about the history of the world-famous football club.
Don't miss out
We have many other films and events for all the family.
