50th Anniversary Screening. Yellow Submarine is an animated meandering journey filled with puns and dry British humour, where psychedelic music videos take precedence over any linear story.

In a place called Pepperland, the Blue Meanies take over Pepperland, draining it of all its colour and music, firing anti-music missiles, bonking people with green apples, and turning the inhabitants to stone. As the only survivor, the Lord Admiral escapes in the yellow submarine and goes to London to enlist the help of the Beatles (voiced by actors).

'Even if it was originally intended for adolescent and post adolescent Beatles fans, it should still be a marvellous experience for children with its bright colors, flowing movement, and wonderful music.' Neely Swanson, Easy Reader
