Queen Méabh of Connacht uses guile and statecraft to provoke a war between Connacht and Ulster to satisfy her queenly honour. This animated version of Táin Bó Cuailnge uses indigenous talent and understanding to bring Ireland’s most important epic tale to a modern audience.
Téann Méabh, banríon uaibhreach na gConnachtach, i muinín an ghlicis chun cogadh a spreagadh le hUltaigh agus a dtarbh cáiliúil a ghoid. Baineann an leagan beochana seo de Tháin Bó Cuailnge leas as tuiscintí agus buanna dúchasacha chun mór-eipic na hÉireann a chur i láthair lucht féachana ár linne.
A Raw Nerve Productions & Dearcán Media production for TG4 and the BBC, with support from the ILBF and Coimisiún na Meán.
