A celebration of local, contemporary queer culture with a special screening and discussion of collected videos from LGBTQIA+ participants on the Northern Ireland Now Project.

This ‘work in progress’ screening and discussion will showcase a selection of video content that participants have brought together, as well as some of their thoughts on the importance of recent queer history being archived.

Contributions have come from members of the BeU group, organised through Rainbow Project Belfast and the Trans Resource Centre as well as participants from Here NI Belfast and the LGBTQIA+ Heritage Project.

Northern Ireland Now is a contemporary collecting project in partnership with Northern Ireland Screen which addresses underrepresentation in the Digital Film Archive and champions equality, diversity and inclusion.

This event proudly runs in tandem with Campfire Stories and Ulster University.
