Thomas Reid is a 55 year old eccentric Irish farmer who lives and works the farm of his ancestors.

Worn out clothes, self-cut hair and weathered hands expose a life working hard on the land. But Thomas’s home is under threat from the American multinational corporation Intel who want his property to build a manufacturing facility. Thomas rejects all approaches to sell his farm but finds his world in turmoil as higher forces conspire to remove him from his own land. What starts as a story of one man’s struggle to retain his way of life and land, develops into a universal exploration of a battle between principle and power.

“A beautifully made and extremely important documentary. It’s both technically and narratively excellent.” - Jason Coyle, Scannain

“A wonderful film which weaves a modern David versus Goliath fable in such an extraordinary way.” - Rob Aldam, Backseat Mafia
